The Snowbirds and Lavender
We have had a lovely week and this may be the last gorgeous fall weather we get. Early morning at the farm is so tranquil and beautiful. You still have some time to get any lavender you have in pots, in the ground before winter. It is better to put them in the ground than leaving them in the pot outside as the plant will freeze. If you want to bring you lavender potted plant in doors, make sure they have a sunny window (preferably south) and don’t over water it. Remember lavender is prone to root rot. This may a good time to prune your plants back about a third or you can leave until spring. We generally wait until spring!
